An Appalachian Christmas!

Cleveland, GA. - Holiday decorations are going up at the same time one-of-a-kind displays are being installed for the Cabbage Patch Kids® at the New BabyLand® General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia.

The Cabbage Patch Kids® will celebrate their traditional Appalachian Christmas Event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 21, at their new address at 300 NOK Drive, Cleveland, Ga.

The Hospital Staff are busy decorating this beautiful 70,000 sq. ft. home on 100 acres in the Georgia Mountains. The Kids will be on their best behavior as they greet visitors to their new family home, graciously influenced by the historic architecture and renowned hospitality of the South.

Ribbons of Christmas lights will be strung on balconies and eaves. Garland will be woven through the grand, spiral staircase. Look for countless trees, wreaths, bows on boughs and especially happy and excited babies!

The transplanted Cabbage Patch is thriving under the new Magic Crystal Tree, where visitors will witness the birth of Cabbage Patch Kids. Real crystals glow and sparkle hinting that we can expect more surprises from Mother Cabbage.

Building the new BabyLand® General Hospital was a monumental task, but also a labor of love. Cabbage Patch Kid creator Xavier Roberts wanted to build a special facility in his hometown that would capture all the fun and fantasy of Cabbage Patch Kids®.

Always one to heed a good omen, the artist and entrepreneur chose the site for the new BabyLand General Hospital after he saw stork-like birds resting on the hill marking the perfect place to "deliver" babies.
